Daffodil Festival 2012 will take place on Saturday April 28th and Sunday April 29th.

Dear Parade Group Leader/Organizer:  

The 24^th Annual “Daffodils on Parade” will take place on Saturday, April 28th. The parade will begin at 11:30AM and culminate at 1:30PM with a brief award ceremony on the “Theater of the Trees” stage. The Meriden Daffodil Festival Committee invites the entire community to join us on this very special day!

The Daffodil Festival is entering its 34th year as Meriden’s premier outdoor event. “Daffodils on Parade” is one of the festival’s main features, exhibiting the creative participation of the entire community. It is the city’s largest parade, and the route is consistently lined with thousands of spectators. Your presence would afford local residents the opportunity to show their appreciation for your hard work!

The theme for this year’s parade is “Spring Fever.” Please if it all possible incorporate it in your participation plans. Anything related to the season of spring is encouraged! Please take the time to complete the accompanying entry form accurately so we can properly place you in the parade lineup.

Should you be joining us, please return the entry form to my attention using the email address cbourdon@ci.meriden.ct.us. For placement purposes, please submit your information no later than Friday, April 6th. Complete logistical information will be available online by Friday, April 13th.
