John Fries and The Heat

John Fries has been a staple in the vibrant New London music scene for some time. As leader of the acclaimed Lo-Fi Radio Stars he established himself as a premier guitar player- with a specialty in slide and the resonator guitar. That band played Daffodil a few years back before their demise.
Since then, John has honed his guitar skills and songwriting talents. He has formed a backing band- The Heat- and is tearing up the club circuit, not only in Connecticut, but all over the New England area.
