THE SAWTELLES

The Sawtelles are a fixture on the Connecticut music scene. On stage or in the audience, you are bound to see these two wherever you go to a show.

Their music has been called “nerve rock” only for want of a conventional term. The basic sparse arrangements belie the serious subject matter and the intensity of Peter’s unique guitar styling and tunings. Julie’s standup drumming technique is truly her own personal style and together they create a swirling yet dense sound that can make you sit up and listen.
