THE GONKUS BROTHERS

Meriden ’s Gonkus Brothers have long been a big part of The Daffodil Festival. They hold down this slot every year for as long as we can remember- and they own it!

Traditional bluegrass and Irish tunes; acoustic versions of classic rock songs by the Beatles, Grateful Dead and The New Riders; drinking songs, singalong songs and just plain tons of songs to choose from- which is what makes a Gonkus Brothers performance exactly the kind of fun you should be looking for when lunchtime hits on Saturday and The Gonkus Brothers hit the Food Tent Stage at 12 noon. Make sure you drop by and say hello to Rooney, Big D and especially Kevin, now that the ankle bracelet is off and he can roam again.
