It's no secret, a majority of
the folks who visit the Daffodil Festival are there for the food.
And what a choice they have. Under the Festival's 'Silver Fork' Food Tent
more than 40 food vendors with volunteers from the community's civic,
religious and non-profit sectors prepare and offer those fair-type foods
you don't or can't get at home. Enjoy a Caribbean meat patty, some
fried dough, bite into a kielbasa sandwich, warm up with a bowl of chili,
enjoy a baked potato with all the trimmings, perhaps a sausage and pepper
grinder, try a Belgian waffle with a cup of gourmet coffee, have some
cotton candy and be a kid again. Well, you get the idea, something
for everyone. Moreover, all the profits go back into the community
through the projects of the church, neighborhood group or service club
these hard working volunteers represent.
